Why Do You Listen to Liars?

Repeatedly the GOP claimed that the back-to-school speech given by the president was nothing more than Socialist indoctrination. They screamed for parents to keep their children home and not listen to it. Texas schools made it a point not to run the speech at all. Apparently, he was going to turn all our precious children into Communists by talking.



The speech ended up being a standard take-responsibility-for-yourself and stay-in-school talk. My, oh, my, how Communism and Socialism have changed. So now we have a big bowl of evidence that these right-wingers will say anything without evidence to back it up. Why do people still listen to them? I think it is because they want to be led astray.
