Famous Beans in History

We did this in May, and I am sorry to say it has taken me until now to get it up and running. . .

PINTO BEANS
1 Cup dry beans (unsoaked)
1 TSP sea salt or 2 TSP seasoning

Add beans and seasoning to quart jar. Fill with water leaving 1 inch head space. Put on cap, screw ban, tighten firmly.

90 minutes at second red ring/15 lbs. pressure.

First I bought dried beans and brought then home. Then my mother-in-law showed up with all the hardware.

We sterilized the glassware in the dishwasher.

We sterilized the lids on the stove.

Then we filled the jars with dried beans and water.

Next we placed them in the Swiss pressure cooker on top of the invection cook top.

After letting them cool off in the cooker, we pulled them out.
