Six Degrees of Separation/Kevin Bacon/Jon Hamm

In the 90s there were a play and movie about how small the world is called Six Degrees of Separation. They were based on the theory that we are all connected to one another through six people at the most. Will Smith starred in the movie version.

Just as the internet took off, a game based on this theory called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, did too. You had to prove that Kevin Bacon had connections to any movie star. For instance: Val Kilmer knows Kevin Bacon. Val was in Top Gun with Tom Cruise, and Tom was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon (short one).

Well, Kevin Bacon sounds like meat and so does Jon Hamm, the star of my favorite television series, Mad Men, whom I am connected to. How? My son went to school with Bill Hader of Saturday Night Live, of which Jon Hamm just guest hosted. Easy huh?

Wonder if he could get me a role on the show?
