Part of my treatment requires that I sit and meditate daily. Each morning I get up and sit outside under the veranda to listen to the world wake up. It is magical there. I have a panoramic view of hills, saguaro cactus, trees, aloe, and scrub. Missy and Dudley the cats sit with me while I watch the world around me. I have watched birds fight over territory, jackrabbits lope along, coyotes and roadrunners scrounging, and quail coveys marching with military precision.
