I am not sure what they call these holes in the wall out here in the West. I just know you are supposed to put your saints in them. So, we have obliged. We have the Virgin of Guadalupe and Mary. We used the candles to smudge the place before we moved in. I don't think it helped, however.
We also have our obligatory terra cotta sun. I left our last one on the back of the house in the Coulee and bought this one to take its place. I like him. He is bright, colorful, and never leaves any doubt to his intention.
